d**n luggage. Whoever made luggage bags so big should be shot. The plane over was a drag and she hadn't been able to fit her luggage bag onto the plane. This had led to her having her bag thrown into the storage of the plane and she had to wait about two hours for her bag to be retrieved.
So here she was, finally arrived to this school when she should have been here hours ago. Two hours to be precise, wow, that bag really screwed up her day. So now she was in the doorway to her darm, almost falling over as a heavy bag was slung along her shoulder and another being wheeled around with her all day.
She spotted a couch and instantly dropped her things and fell limply into the seat as she tried to catch her breath. She felt like just falling asleep and not getting back up until she felt better, but in her gut she knew she had to put her things away. She sighed and just relaxed, she needed a break from fuming and stressing about every litte thing all day.

Pete heard the door bang open. He leaned out of his dorm to see who was making so much noise, to him this time of the day was early. Yes, 1 PM was early. He was still in his blue pajama bottoms and a red clandestine sweater he had grabbed and zipped up quickly- without a shirt underneath. It was rare that he wore a shirt under a sweater, he didn't see the point. He headed down and caught the sight of a girl laying on the couch and bags thrown on the floor.
He raised an eyebrow and slid one of the bags over to the girls feet. "These yours?" he asked. He grinned down at the girl as he got a better look at her, she looked exhausted.

Jessi looked up as she heard someone speak behind her, she didn't expect to be looking up right into the person face though. She turned around to see the guy who was hovering over the back of the couch and back down at the bag.
"Oh yeh, sorry bout these," she said and reached with her foot to slide the other bag towards her as well. As she slid it towards her it was caught on a throw rug, so as the bag slid towards he so did the rug. She bii her lip and looked back up at the guy and smiled innocently. "Sorry," she said.

Pete chuckled at her clumsiness and placed the rug back into place. He walked over to the other chair that was nearby and sat down as well. "Well newbie, I guess your living here to?" he said and grinned at his nickname for her.
"Where are you coming from?" he asked before she coud answer. He didn't mean to bombard her with questions, but he was interested that another person was going to live here. It seemed like everyone had a roomate nowdays.

Jessi grinned at the name. "Newbie? Well I guess I am one...but this is Ebony Dorm right? If so than yes I am going to be living here now," she said. She took a breath since she had talked a bit fast since he was asking two questions at a time.
"Well I did live in New Jersey before my parents sent me here," she said. She looked around the place and admired the theme they were trying to make. When they meant ebony dorm the meant ebony, she she liked to dark theme.

Pete nodded. "You bet your lucky socks this is. Personaly I was content with living here by myself, but you seem pretty cool and I could make an exception," he said. He watched as her eyes wandered from his face to all around them.
"Like it? They originally made it just a really light grey- you know so it's not all dark, but I touched it up a bit and braught in some designs and made it darker," he said and admired his own work.

Jessi's eyes landed back to him and her eyes widened a bit. "You did this?" she asked. She really admired his work, she drew a bit herself but she was mostly a writer- one that sucked too. She never could figure out what she was better at but she enjoyed writting better so she called herself a writer.
She touched her hand to the wall next to her and traced her hand around a swirling design. "And the staff let you?" she asked curious. Maybe she could draw on her walls?

Pete nodded. "Don't get all excited, I used stencils and airbrushes so the credit goes to the credit goes to the designer of the stencils," he said and shrugged. He watched as she traced a hand down the swirling design, he turned his face downward and began to get interested with his black chiped nailpolish, that design he had actually did.
"You paint?" he asked. He just figured from the way she was interested in the paintings. He listened to her question and shook his head. "Nope, well they haven't exactly checked it out here for months so I guess no," he said and grinned mycheviously.

Jessi chuckled and let her fingers rest back into her lap. "Well it's still good and I give you the credit. I can't hold stencils in place if my life depended on it, so I admire your steady hand," she joked and laughed slightly.
She listened to his question and shrugged. "Well...I guess you could say I do...but then again i'm a writer so I guess my drawing and painting are just hobbies," she said. "I'm guessing your a painter- or stenciler?"

Pete laughed and looked back up once his face was back to normal color. "Well i guess playing the bass gives me a pretty good hand...but I would think holding that pen up all day would too," he said. He'd met a lot of writers and was one himself, he even wanted his book published, but he's just been to nervous to hand it in. He guessed he was a writer too more than a painter, he just could paint good.

Jessi looked up and raised an eyebrow. "You play bass?" she asked. He rolled her eyes at her own question, well duh he just said. "I mean, that's pretty cool. I'm not exactly an instrament person, the only thing i ever learned how to play was the cello. But it didn't really turn out so good cus I wasn't good at shifting since my hands are to small," she said and stretched her finger out.
She shook her head as she heard his comment about the pen. "Well that just cramps my hands up and I have to put it down every minute or so, it takes forever for me to write," she said and shrugged.

"The cello eh? I've seen those, those are kickass. I have a friend who plays one, he has gigantic hands so he doesn't hav a problem with the shifting and fingering," he said. He couldn't picture this small sized girl playing such a huge instrament, good thing she didn't play an upright.
He laughed as she told him about the cramps she got in her hands. "To bad their's no hand massagers, they have so many things now days you they would have massages for writers," he chuckled.

Jessi sat up a bit and placed her hands under her butt. "My hands are mad at you now, they're not small! They're just...challenged," she said. She laughed at her own comment, she knew her hands were so freakin tiny, but these tiny hands were one of her features. They were easy to hold and she loved to be held.
"And I guess they should have hand massages, for us who have challenged hands," she said and smiled goofily.

"Challenged eh? Well then you must have REALLY challenged hands," he teased. He laughed as she hid her hands under her butt, this girl was wierd. Then he realized, he'd never gotten her name.
"Well miss challenged hands, I'd be the challenged one if I didn't introduce myself," he said. "The names Pete," he said and stretched to chake hands and smiled, awaiting to shake her tiny hands.

She smiled and leaned forward and pulled her hands from under her butt and shook his hand. Her hand felt like a baby's hand in his. But she loved it. "Well the owner of these challenged hand's name is Jessi. Nice to meet you Pete," she said.
After a good shake she took her hands from his and placed them in her lap, another joke about her hands and it was under her butt they would go.
